  • Once your dates are reserved, we’ll confirm your booking and begin personalizing your experience aboard Vienna. A member of our team will reach out to discuss your preferences—whether it’s specific activities, dining options, or any special requests. You’ll receive a "Welcome Aboard" packet that includes detailed information about your charter, itinerary suggestions, packing tips, and a breakdown of what’s included. Our goal is to ensure that your sailing adventure is tailored to your exact desires, so you can sit back, relax, and look forward to your unforgettable getaway!

  • In the event of a cancellation by you, all deposits are non-refundable. We strongly recommend purchasing 'Cancel for Any Reason' (CFAR) trip insurance, available from major travel insurance providers. CFAR insurance can cover cancellations due to unforeseen circumstances such as extreme weather, emergencies, and other specified reasons. Please consult your preferred travel insurance company for more details.

  • You will need to pay a 30% deposit to confirm the booking and the balance is due 60 days prior to embarkation.

  • Vienna can comfortably accommodate up to 10 guests for day charters and 6 guests  for overnight trips. Contact us for larger groups.

  • The reservation process is easy and straightforward. Simply send us an inquiry with your preferred charter dates, and we will confirm availability. Once you've chosen your dates we will provide the yacht charter agreement for your review and signature, along with payment instructions for the deposit.

  • We recommend booking as early as possible to ensure availability, especially during peak seasons. A few weeks to a couple of months in advance is ideal, but we can often accommodate last-minute bookings.

  • Absolutely! We can help plan a special event or celebration on board. Let us know your ideas, and we'll work with you to create an unforgettable experience.

  • Your captain will adjust the itinerary to adapt to the weather conditions. Vienna Charters operates with a rain or shine policy. However, if the captain deems conditions hazardous, the sail may be rescheduled or canceled. Please note that the captain has the sole discretion to cancel or reschedule any sail due to weather. No refunds will be issued for no-shows.

  • It's advisable to carry a small amount of US cash that can be exchanged for pesos if necessary. There are occasions when US currency is accepted. Additionally, you may withdraw local currency from an ATM machine in town. Major credit cards are generally accepted in La Paz.

  • Starlink Wi-Fi is available on the yacht and is included in your charter rate. While Wi-Fi service is generally reliable in La Paz, there may be a few areas with weaker reception. We recommend purchasing an international calling plan or a travel eSIM for your trip.

  • Vienna is located at the prestigious Marina Costa Baja, within the exclusive village of Puerta Cortes. La Paz is the capital of Baja California Sur and a natural paradise where the sea meets the Sierra Laguna.

  • Marina Costa Baja is easily accessible by taxi, just a 35-minute drive from La Paz International Airport. La Paz is also a short 1 hour and 45-minute flight from Tijuana Airport, which is easily accessible from the CBX crossing in Otay Mesa. If you need assistance with transfers, please let us know, and we’d be happy to help arrange them.

  • There’s never a bad time to visit the Sea of Cortez! Daytime temperatures are in the high 70s°F between December and February, and 80°-100°F from March to November. Winds are typically higher in the winter, and the rainiest months are from July to October. Please note that holiday weeks are subject to a slightly higher premium rate. Whatever the season, your Baja California Sur escape will be unforgettable!

  • Seasickness is a common concern for many guests before their charter, but rest assured, most (if not all) of our guests find that they feel perfectly fine once aboard. Catamarans are designed for comfort and stability, making motion sickness rare. For those who may be prone to motion sickness, we recommend bringing wristbands, ear patches, or medications like Dramamine or Bonine. Taking preventive measures is key to ensuring a smooth and enjoyable voyage, and we have a few tricks to help keep you feeling great. If you have any concerns about seasickness, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Your well-being is our top priority.

  • For the weeklong charters, travel insurance is a great way to ensure peace of mind during your vacation. Major travel insurance providers can cover cancellations due to extreme weather, Acts of God, medical emergencies, and other specific situations.   • Gratuity is entirely at the discretion of the charter guests.
