Shelley and Robert have been married and adventuring for 24 years. They have three children and a granddaughter they are obsessed with.
Captain Rob grew up sailing the Channel Islands off the coast of Southern California and has always had a deep love for the ocean. A seasoned waterman, he enjoys surfing, diving, fishing, and sailing. His adventures have taken him around the world, navigating new waters. Taking a break from his career as a physician, he and Shelley chose to fully immerse themselves in the maritime lifestyle, making their catamaran home in the Caribbean for a year and a half. Now, as a US Coast Guard Captain, he’s thrilled to share the magic of Baja and the Sea of Cortez with fellow adventurers.
Shelley is the heart of the galley and the soul of the journey. A passionate cook, natural connector, and seasoned traveler, she has sailed in some of the world’s most breathtaking destinations—Thailand, the Greek Isles, the Balearics, Croatia, Sardinia, Corsica, the Virgin Islands, and Mexico. But Baja, with its vibrant marine life, rich culture, and stunning landscapes, holds a special place in her heart. She believes sailing is the ultimate “off the beaten path” experience, offering a gateway to hidden gems and unforgettable moments.

Trevor, a San Diego native, grew up surfing the shores of Southern California and Baja California. His love for the rugged beauty of these coastlines fueled his lifelong passion for surfing, sailing, and exploration. Together with his parents, Captain Rob and Shelley, Trevor has sailed across the globe. Driven by a fascination for the technical side of sailing and navigation, he earned his US Coast Guard Captain’s License to deepen his expertise. Among his many accomplishments, Trevor has navigated from the Northern Caribbean to the Southern Caribbean, transited the Panama Canal, and sailed up the coast of Central America and Mexico. His extensive experience and love for Baja make him the perfect tour guide and captain for your charter adventure.
Emerson grew up in a charming coastal town in North Carolina, where she spent her childhood exploring local waters with her family aboard their boat. A natural creator, adventurer, and entrepreneur, Emerson has built a successful career in architectural and interior design, photography, and video editing. Her work in modeling has taken her to exotic destinations, inspiring her artistic pursuits and fueling her love for travel. With her sunny southern charm and infectious sense of fun, Emerson brings warmth, creativity, and excitement to every journey.
